As a psychodynamically trained clinical social worker, I provide an experiential treatment approach with my clients. Insight therapy is one of the modalities I use to address current challenges and long-standing issues. I am also a certified genetic counselor which enables me to explore the genetic predisposition to a variety of mental health issues such as depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, and schizophrenia. With sensitivity and compassion, I help individuals identify ways to cope with difficult life circumstances and to process experiences of grief and life transition.
With an integration of complimentary methods, I draw from a selection of styles and techniques to discern what is most helpful for each individual. Together with each client, I assist them in recognizing their own strengths in overcoming personal challenges and relationship difficulties.
